New York City, NY
New York City is a fun city and one of my favorite places. NYC is crazy about the fashion, diversity and food. When you walk on the street, you will always see many chain stores of global clothing brands. People wear different clothes, different brands and different colors, and some clothes are very trending. Some models walk on the street and are very bold about their outfit. Also, you can city walk around the Times Square and SoHo shopping area. You will see people from different countries who speak different languages.
For the food, I am Chinese. I like the food in Chinatown and some of the street food. They are always tasty.
Houghton, MI
I am very glad I can come to Houghton. Houghton is a very wonderful place. I can
drive 10 minutes to find a place to hike or walk. Mt. Ripley, Nara Park and McLain State
Park are so beautiful in the fall or summer. The maple leaves in the fall can always
make you forget all the sad things inside of your heart.
Northern Lights are also fantastic. I can enjoy the Northern Lights just outside of my house!
The most beautiful thing about Houghton is it is a place that can make your heart warm. It is easy to make friends. As long as you open your heart and are willing to be social, you can always find someone who is willing to be your friend.
Also, I like the SDC fitness center. It offers different kinds of programs for people to learn, and prices are reasonable. Also, I joined several local social events, and they offered English classes. My English improved day by day.
