We are excited to share that the Elaine Bacon Literacy Program (EBLP) is now a proud member of the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce! This membership marks an important step in strengthening our connections within the local business and nonprofit community while continuing our mission to support English language learners in the Keweenaw area.
Why This Matters
Joining the Chamber allows EBLP to engage with local businesses, organizations, and leaders who share our vision of a more inclusive and thriving community. Through this network, we hope to raise awareness of our literacy programs, expand our reach, and create new opportunities for collaboration.
There are monthly events that you, as the EBLP community, can join freely, like Wakeup Keweenaw and the Lunch and Learn Program. Consider subscribing to their newsletter to find out about activities and events in our area.
Looking Ahead
As a Chamber member, we look forward to participating in events, networking with local partners, and finding innovative ways to enhance our literacy initiatives. We believe that building strong relationships with businesses and community organizations will help us create an even greater impact for our students and volunteers.
