We’re excited for special presentation tomorrow by Salma Ayasra, who will be sharing about her home country, Jordan!
Here’s a little introduction from Salma herself:
“My name is Salma, I am from a city called Jerash in Jordan. I’m a 26-year-old wife and doctor. I love cooking, hiking, traveling, chasing sunsets, and—studying!”
The presentation will focus on Jordanian cuisine, especially breakfast traditions—a delicious and important part of Jordanian culture!
Salma will also be bringing some traditional Jordanian breakfast dishes for everyone to taste:
Qalaiat Bandora – sautéed tomatoes with onions, olive oil, and hot peppers, served with bread Muffarakah Batata – eggs with potatoes Meze – including zaatar with olive oil, halawa, and hummus Sage tea – a fragrant and traditional Jordanian drink
Come enjoy the flavors, stories, and culture of Jordan through Salma’s eyes and taste buds!
