We are thrilled to announce that the Elaine Bacon Literacy Program has once again been accepted to participate in the annual Copper Shores Giving Tuesday campaign to take place at the Copper Country Mall on December 2, from 10:00 to 6:00. We will have a booth set up with information about our program and an invitation for those who can to donate. This is an opportunity to meet members of our literacy program and to spread the word about what we do in the community. With last year’s donations we were able to expand our cultural and outdoor activities and purchase reading and teaching materials. EBLP receives 100% of donations made to Copper Shores in our name plus we will receive a percentage of the more than $200K Amplification Fund, a pool of money dedicated for local nonprofits.
To take advantage of the Amplification Fund, donations must be made out to Copper Shores Giving Tuesday between November 12th and December 2nd. Donations will be accepted online or by mail to Copper Shores Community Health Foundation’s Giving Tuesday campaign (Copper Shores Giving Tuesday) at 400 Quincy, Hancock MI 49930.
